If you are wanting an affordable and more intense stimulation other than out conductive silicone loops, you might give these metal/cable stranded loops a try.  Made from 2mm twisted cable they use a simple typical sliding cable tightener to secure them around the head, base, shaft or balls.  To make the experience a little less acute, try placing some lube on them, especially the underside where the cable contacts the skin.  This will spread out the current and make the sensation more pleasurable.
